Introduction
My name is Abdul Wahab, and I am the Founder & CEO of Progriso, a software development and digital solutions company based in Islamabad, Pakistan. Over the last four years, I have grown from being a curious student of technology into a Full-Stack Web Developer, Entrepreneur, and Mentor who thrives on helping businesses and individuals succeed in today’s digital world.
Through my company Progriso, my freelance work on Fiverr, and my involvement in the Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) at NUML, I’ve had the opportunity to build real solutions, deliver high-quality projects, and empower others with the skills and mindset to grow.
This is my journey — a story of curiosity, hard work, entrepreneurship, and a vision to use technology to make life easier for people.
Early Life & Education
I was born and raised in Islamabad, where my educational journey began at Islamabad Career College, Bhara Kahu. I completed my matriculation and ICS, and it was during this time that I first discovered my passion for technology.
While many of my classmates were focused only on traditional studies, I spent my spare time exploring game development, programming basics, and early web technologies. What fascinated me most wasn’t just writing code, but understanding the logic behind systems — how a website functions, how digital businesses operate, and how technology could be used to solve real-world problems.
In February 2021, I joined NUML University, Islamabad, where I officially began my higher education journey. University life was an eye-opening experience that gave me the platform to polish my technical skills and expand my understanding of business, leadership, and community. After four years of hard work, I graduated in January 2025, leaving NUML not only with a degree but with experiences that shaped who I am today.
First Professional Experiences
My first professional role came early — during my very first semester of university. I joined Adz Hut Marketing Agency as a Web Developer Intern, where I got hands-on experience working on live projects.
This internship taught me more than just coding. I learned teamwork, deadlines, client communication, and the importance of delivering solutions that were not only functional but also user-friendly and impactful.
Shortly after, I joined LocalPro1 as a Senior WordPress Developer, where I completed over 100 professional websites within just six months. This role allowed me to lead development efforts, interact with clients, and execute projects at scale. It also gave me confidence that I could compete with professionals in the industry even as a student.
Freelance Journey – Fiverr Success
While working at agencies, I also started freelancing on Fiverr. What began as a side hustle quickly became a significant part of my professional identity.
To date, I have successfully delivered 300+ projects as a Full-Stack Web Developer on Fiverr, working with clients across the globe. Each project helped me grow — from simple landing pages to complex web applications, I built a portfolio that showcased my ability to adapt, innovate, and deliver.
Freelancing also taught me how to communicate with international clients, understand their business needs, and provide solutions that add real value. It wasn’t just about development — it was about building trust, maintaining quality, and always aiming to exceed expectations.
Founding Progriso – A Dream Turned Reality
In August 2021, I took the bold step of founding my own company — Progriso.
For me, Progriso was more than a business idea; it was a mission. I wanted to create a platform that not only delivered high-quality web and mobile solutions but also focused on understanding businesses deeply and crafting strategies that help them grow.

Leadership at GDSC NUML
Parallel to my entrepreneurial journey, I served as a Technical Lead at Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) – NUML during the 2021–2022 session.
This was one of the most transformative roles of my career. Leading a team of passionate developers, I guided technical projects, conducted workshops, and created opportunities for students to learn and grow. It wasn’t just about coding — it was about leadership, mentorship, and building a culture of innovation.
This experience prepared me for the leadership challenges I face today at Progriso, where guiding teams and inspiring others is as important as writing clean code.
Giving Back – Training & Community Work
Beyond business, one of my biggest passions is helping people in my surroundings. I regularly train youth and adults for free, teaching them technology skills, business basics, and the mindset required to succeed in today’s world.
I believe that in order to grow as a society, we need to change the way people think — from seeking only jobs to building skills, becoming entrepreneurs, and creating opportunities. By training and mentoring people, I aim to build a community of future developers, freelancers, and businessmen who can take charge of their lives.
